Glad U like the shots; thanx!I think one reason the city died was its police dept. I was visiting a friend up there in 2002 and decided to take a few pix of the restored theater in town. No less than 4 police people came up to me, basically surrounding me one by one, each questions me why I was photographing buildings. Of course 911 was still fresh in their minds. Trying to reason that their city spent an untold amount of $$$ fixing up the old place so tourists and residents alike could enjoy it; they were surprised. jrc |
