Posted by The Flxible Neofan on Mon Jan 24 22:02:04 2011 In the Wyoming Valley, there are two transit systems that serve the cities and Wilkes Barre and Scranton. These are called the Luzerne County Transportation Authority and County of Lackawanna Transit System.In Luzerne County, where Wilkes Barre is located, you'll find LCTA taking care of business:   Before the Intermodal Transit Center was built, LCTA buses picked up passengers in the Public Square.    Intermodal Transit Center  The City of Pittston   Wyoming Valley Mall    Main and Oak Streets, Old Forge, PA...home of the "Pizza Capital of the World" and the famous Old Forge pizza. This is also one of two transfer points to COLTS (the other is in Pittston). Check Pt 2 of this series for more photos! |
