At this point, FP received the last two 3600's, 3698 and 3699 from Fifth Ave. plus a few lower 3700's. I never did see 3700 at FP. I think there were a few missing buses from the mid 3700's that came from XT. I no longer have my B53 list from the 70's otherwise I would be able to tweak the roster.At FLU, some time after the 7500's arrived, they were transferred out, some if not all went to FP. I believe it was Sen. Leonard P. Stavisky who I saw on the TV news speaking out wondering where Flushing's new buses had disappeared to. I knew they went to FP. I remember 3601-3659 at Manhattan but I somehow thought they were there earlier. BTW, If 7500-7659 were delivered with batwings as originally planned, would every depot still would have received them? |
