Flashing only takes 10 or so seconds per bus, it is just a PCMCIA card that is put into a slot on the bus then its done, pull the card back out. If you wish, I can take video of it.Signs dont break as frequently as you might think, but when they do, there is a very long lead time from destination sign manufactures for whatever reason. The six mechanics were probably to fix mechanical issues with the sign. You have to consider the being able to flash all the buses in one night as opposed to the time of taking roll signs out slicing them and reinstalling them, it would take weeks. |
