I tried getting to LGA by #7 train and bus many years ago and swore never to try it again. Apart from the bus being impossibly crowded and stopping every few feet for one reason or another, carrying luggage on the accessability challenged and also impossibly crowded #7 was a nightmare. A couple weeks ago a friend of mine from out of town tried getting to Manhattan from LGA the same way and had the same experience. What is needed is a dedicated non-stop bus to an accessible (elevator/escalator equipped) IND station if we can't get a train right to LGA. |
