That's the difference between a busfan roster shot shooter like you and a transitfan historian like me. You only shoot close ups of buses with no background scenes visible. In 20 years those shots will only be appreciated by a small number of busfans, if any, whereas my shots, since they show everything going on around the bus (the people, the cars, the buildings, etc.) will be appreciated by almost everyone (busfans, historians, youngsters, normal people, hipsters, artists, convicts, etc.). Think about which old photos are the most interesting to look at? They are almost NEVER close ups of a bus or rail car. They are zoomed OUT shots showing everything going on around the transit subject. You can't have 100 year old "guess the location" photos if there's nothing in the photo to use to try to figure out the location!
