At the western terminal of the route the B12 should be extended from Alabama Avenue/East New York Avenue to the Broadway Junction Subway Station at Broadway Van Sinderen Avenue via making a U turn near Georgia Avenue then continue along Jamaica Avenue Broadway to the Broadway Junction Subway Station. The current westbound B12 bus stop at Alabama Avenue/East New York Avenue or at Alabama Avenue/Fulton Street (not sure) would become both a eastbound drop off/westbound pick up bus stop. Under this plan the current (first) westbound B12 bus stop at Alabama Avenue/East New York Avenue would be eliminated. The westbound B12 bus would go directly from the Broadway Junction along Broadway and then make a right turn at East New York Avenue going directly into the underpass. This would provide direct access for B12 passengers to the additional "A", "C" and "L" subway Lines. |
