That said, during the rush, all Q58s should be limited-stop along Grand Avenue (with stops at 79 Street, 69 Street, and Hamilton Place).Said by somebody who doesn't live in the neighborhood? 61st Street is busy with transfers from other routes; 64th Street is heavily used, 71st Street is important due to the schools, and 84th Street always has a crowd. My stop is 61st Street. Sure I can walk north a few blocks to Hamilton Place to board, but it would be very tough on senior citizens and families. All to benefit the residents of Ridgewood? There is not enough Q59 service to fill the gaps. |
