Only problem is, east coast TAs would never tolerate a 40-foot suburban/commuter bus with only 36 seats, when the same-length MCI seats 49 and a 45-footer can seat 57 for the same single trip. You would need two of those C40LFs to do the job of one D4500. Buses as functionally inefficient as that C40LF are accepted in California strictly because of political pressure. |
