To TS: Well, I'm happy you at least attempted to uphold your "sucky" statement, even incorrect. Only an ignorant bigot could state they like or hate something "just because". I would not expect same from you.I firmly believe this whole attitude of yours is pure "shtick". Nothing you stated prior makes any sense. Any thing that can make a bus "sucky" can do likewise for a train. In the case of a NYC subway, try riding in the wee hours of the morning. One work train after another trundles through the station, the rats are feasting on Lord knows what, the freakazoids are carrying on, the beggars are begging. Then 40 minutes later the train arrives, packed, with vomit on the floor. Doors are locked on some trains making escape impossible. Oh what a joy to ride a train! But you wouldn't know about these affairs; your tucked away snugly in your crib. In spite of ball that I too love trains, not favoring one mode over the other. That's just me; good sensible upbringing. jc |
