The artic could make the turn but it would be a little difficult and might require the bus to be backed up. The bridge I was referring to is the Shore Road/Pelham Parkway Bridge which must be crossed before reaching the City Island Bridge. As Mr. Eisenstein pointed out in his post, the Shore Road/Pelham Parkway Bridge does experience a lot of openings and this would impact the on time performance of an extended Bx12. |
