The last time Second Avenue Subway money was reallocated was to NYC's general fund to avert bankruptcy. That was $5 billion in 1972 dollars. This time, it would only be allowed for something that is visible, creates permanent jobs, and a capital expense.It would be quite stupid in my opinion, but it doesn't look like they will have the LOCAL funds to finish SAS. |
