There were thousands of cars in San Francisco, even back then. My movies from the 1960's and 1970's show them. I even filmed {the aftermath} of an accident where a car sideswiped a MUNI Marmon-Herrington trolley coach around 1970. The interesting part of the scene was the other coaches, poles fully extended, struggling to get by the accident. There was no EPU feature back in those days. You did it "on the wires" or you didn't get by. |
