Posted by MTA_SI on Fri Nov 6 13:21:44 2009 Last night I pulled out 2017, got about 6 blocks from castleton depot and the stalled, road truck came, got me running I followed him back to depot, and pulled out a different bus. In the yard, the bus wouldn't even shift into gear, so i went back to the yard dispatcher, who gave me a bus that was just pulling back in from its route, no big deal i did a quick pretrip, seeing I was already 30 minutes late... I got on the on-ramp to the Verrazano bridge and you guessed it, the bus broke down, I lost all my air pressure, and was forced to the left warning stripes. I waitied another hour and a half for a wrecker, and ended up back at the depot...0 runs completed! 2 hrs of overtime! 3 dead buses! |
