It's the specifications and getting buses "as cheap as possible" that is the problem nowadays. We don't get buses built like they used to be because everyone wants the cheapest thing possible, and they retire them at age 12. While 20 year old buses were just about commonplace once upon a time, today it's an atrocity for a 20 year old bus to remain on the streets! |
