The engine cradle/frame are bending and cracking.This is not a new issue with Orions. The 1993 series also had these problems but all 300 of them were retrofitted at 207 St repair yard. I really think that if we bought the 870's today we would have repaired them since maintainence has improved dramatically today. We do preventive work, campaigns, vendors come in, etc. Back in the early 80's we were lucky if the buses were fueled! |
