When I had the QC last year this was a issue on the 6400's. They start coming lose at one end and hang. Then they fall off. I would just rip it off when it was hanging and give it to maintainence since it is a safety issue and buses can run without them.
These buses are made so cheap, its just glued on, no screws.
A few of them that were hanging have struck the tollbooth at the triboro bridge on the M60.
