All info for your account as with any credit card is stored on a central server.Every hour a do not accept list is downloaded to the turn style of bus fare box that lists all cards allowed and disallowed . that is all that is needed. all info is stored centrally . Most credit card transactions are authorized but don't post for a few days after the transactions. As part of the deal the credit card companies will pay any transaction they approve that there is a problem with. since a subway transaction is small money they would work. |
