Posted by MTA_SI on Sat Oct 31 10:11:45 2009 Dept. of Buses has asked Staten Island dispatchers to place as few as possible Orion VII NG's in service today. This is in part because of the situation last night where on the S52, S46, and S48 line over 20 buses were hit with eggs (frozen too), a gallon of paint, rocks, bricks and more. The paint job on the new buses being so new, the egg can cause damage to the paint. |
