I would think that another factor would be the numerous tour companies already doing business in Midtown. The other thing about that flyer that caught my attention was the "Shoppers Bus Ticket" for Midtown Manhattan. If the MTA ever gets its act together (a very big leap of faith) would they ever consider such a similar promotion for the Christmas holiday season and are there other areas of the city where it might work (ie. Downtown Brooklyn).
