PURCHASE 135 COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS BUSES (NYCT)
OVER $50M

This project is to purchase 135 40-foot low floor buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) - 90 for NYC Transit Department of Buses and 45 for the MTA Bus Company - with an option to purchase up to 375 additional buses - 195 for NYC Transit Department of Buses and 180 for the MTA Bus Company. Bus specifications include, but not limited to the following: electronic destination signs, hard insert passenger seating, two doors, air brakes, custom supplied tires (six), basic white paint with NYCT decaling, and multiplex electrical system.

Duration of Contract 10 Months
