I say that because a lot of passengers being suitcases and strollers onto the bus and it clogs up the aisle a bit. With the MCIs(or some other coach model) they can go to the luggage compartment below.

But if they're getting off before the last stop, the driver has to park the bus, get off, and open up the compartment. Doesn't really work for a transit route.
