"The 5600's were Brooklyn buses since they were seen on the B22, 53, and 56 on Jamaica Ave".The B53/Q54 was always FP going back to the early 60's which didn't have the 5600's. Just the B22 and B56 had them. I think when ENY and FP received the 4100's during late 1969, the 5600's left ENY depot for the Queens depots. I remember seeing a 5600 on the B56 and thinking that the first two digits were the same as the route number. |
