Once you take into account the accuracy of what's between the stations (track layout and speeds), the physics (Try operating at 50 MPH without having your camera sliding into and out of the car like it's on some kind of huge motorized pendulum), and the graphic performance (even on the "low" version, frame rates are barely tolerable at best), the PATH simulator sucks. You can't even set up a round-robin tour of the system (i.e. round trip from Newark via all three terminals), and the free roam is only limited to walking around outside the cab. The in-game announcements are all done by someone with a heavy German accent, as if the victory of World War II went to Nazi Germany, and yes, even though it doesn't need to be said, there is no reference whatsoever to the PA-5 cars.It does look nice in the pictures, but beyond that, it's a disappointment. |
