Actually, IINM, that is the NIMCO scrapyard in Kearny, NJ.Actually, it's the NIMCO scrapyard in Newark, NJ :) On a related note, what TA's in the Northeast do NOT scrap their buses in New Jersey, and also, what is the TA farthest away from Greater NY that tows their buses away to Newark for scrapping? I haven't seen RIPTA or MBTA buses in there of late, but I do have photos from 1995 or so with MBTA Flyers and possibly RIPTA RTSes. The most distant properties I've seen represented at NIMCO are PAT and GRTC. |
