I never realized it was an entirely different bus. What route does the Williamsburg Trolley take. Doesn't seem like yiddish to meI don't know the route, but I've seen it around the Bedford Avenue/Lee Avenue area. It has a mechitza, unlike the B110, and I think it's a subscription service. As of 2004, the buses were "garaged" in an open lot near Flushing Avenue. One of the Gilligs was parked on 6th Street behind the Private Transportation facility a couple of months ago, probably junked. The vov-vov ("W") and liberal use of alephs and yuds as vowels suggest that it's Yiddish, although it's really English transliterated into Yiddish. |
