As I mentioned before, no transit authority has a responsibility to inform their customers of rolling stock changes in advance. Such downgrades have happened before and will always happen; I know the O6 is a poor bus and the downgrade is a poor move but worse has happened in other cities. I bet the complaints are coming in now and that some action will be taken at some time or another.

The 90 is a mixed bag. During nights it can get packed, when UAlbany is in session it can get packed at the start/end; however, ride during the day and it's at best half full. Even when I was a regular rider of the 90 during my days at UAlbany, it very rarely had standees outside of the Collins Circle bunch (and in some regards the front part of the O6's are good for standees because it's longitudnal for the first 40% of the bus). Troy Division has no route that matches the 55 for high-level ridership, distance, and crush loads for comparision.
