It's to deter people from using services. An express bus with 30 $5 paying riders will now have 10 $7.50 paying riders. The buses will get cut (insufficient ridership). Those remaining who pay $7.50 will lose interest in waiting 25 minutes instead of 10 minutes for a bus.What's with this New York City Transit Agency that is supposed to operate 250 AAR buses? Its supposed to cost less- 49 an hour? But hey, 6 bucks for a ride. |
