Q101 is trying to screw up what I was saying. You did all right with the 144 but it was not really ment for you. The main problem was who he was trusting his equipment to did not maintain it correctly and once the S89 came to play, everybody ran off the 144 for the S89 and that hurt his business pretty badly. HE had a charter company do all of it for a little while and then some of it went in house since the charter company was giving the 144 bad service.

On a side note, the S89 Limited was not the only one that did not get any public hearings. The short lived X26 did not have public hearings as well. I do think that there is a loophole in the law that requires the MTA to hold public hearings for new routes. It can be posable that the S89 was written off as an emergency route or something to that effect
