SCT does not really need MetroCard at the current time. Maybe in the near future yes but right now no. What they need right now is to offer discounted unlimited ride and per-ride passes as a way to get ridership on their buses. They already got the TRIM units on their GFI fareboxes to print transfers so those TRIM units can be used to print out and process passes through there. |
