i never said that it shouldn't be done, just that it can't now. maybe if/when the 55 bio diesel buses come and if they like the 4 hybrid/eletric buses and order more, then maybe as long as the keep the 1999 orions, it could be done. u can't put every bus u have on the street (even though everyone thinks u can) because in the event of a break down, u wouldn't have any buses to replace the one u lost. and there is the money side, u can't do anything without making sure u have enought money to do it. (suffolk only gets 25% back from the fares. the state gives us less then they should, and the county chips in more though taxes, so if they are low then they get even less moeny, but if they raise them u get the rest of the county, ppl who maynot ride the system, mad at you) i'm sorry but its a lose-lose, no matter what.
