Yep, Richmond Terrace is AWFUL. It's filled with bumps, potholes, swerves, curves, humps, dips, it's definitely the worst condition road in New York City (with Clove Road at a close second). And what makes it even more awful is that all 300 or so of Staten Island's buses have to run down it at one point or another when deadheading.


Around this time last year, there used to be a line-up everyday of broken down O5s and RTS's (CAS had TMCs for awhile), that simply couldn't survive the Terrace. But then again that was also because they didn't like to maintain their buses back then either.

Nowadays, all of the Novas and GOHed O5s are doing very well on Richmond Terrace because of added maintenance on SI, so I'm sure the O7s will do fine too.
