Posted by octa1busfan on Sun Aug 17 12:59:26 2008 Yesterday, I went on a bus fan trip to San Diego. The bus made its first pick up at gateway Plaza at 7:30am , then to The Fullerton Park n Ride, which is where me and some other bus fans boarded at 8:00. We then made are way down to San Diego on a MCI F3500 to visit many San Diego bus yards.The First stop was UCSD.   Are bus at UCSD   The next stop would be San Diego Transit Yard. A GMC            After that, The Sundance stage lines.      The next stop is The Veolia Transit MTS yard.       One of my favorite stops was The Chula vista transit yard. An Orion 1        Eventually, we got to ride the sprinter train.  we rode this train from Escondido transit center to oceanside. We then got back on the bus and went to the NCTD bus yard.      There we boarded are bus to go back to LA. On the way, The left back inner tire went flat in the middle of Camp penelton. We had to wait for help for around 2 hours. finally, at 8:45 pm, a Mechanic arrives To replace the tire, and we are on are way.    The sunset.  Another MCI Driving by  the flat tire.  |
