Local buses also deadhead to/from the ends of their routes. Let's look at this from a single trip POV. 4-If the routes are of the same mileage, you'll spend MORE in the same period of time maintaining a local bus, because it makes more trips. Maintenance is done on a mileage and time schedule, not a trip schedule. |
