Well the transfer would be inconvenient, but it doesn't mean it would have to take away a transfer [bus transfer cards would be issued when the person gets on the bus].As you said the X18 and X20 'takes up space', but if a manhattan only bus was running then riders would be evenly distributed among all Manhattan bound/leaving buses so the X1 and X17 won't be so crowded. This way only Manhattan buses runs as many buses that is needed so they won't be overcrowded or underused. |
