Posted by transitgallery on Sat Jul 5 22:14:43 2008 Check this out:Public Meetings Notice of Public Hearing 17-July-2008 Proposed Discontinuation of Route 5 Service The Palm Tran Service Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 1:30 p.m., at the Clayton Hutcheson Agricultural Center, located at 559 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss and receive public comments regarding the proposed elimination of all service on Route 5. Public comment and discussion will also take place regarding the following proposed changes: Discontinuing Saturday service on Routes 4, 41 and 60 Discontinuing Saturday service on Routes 20, 30, 61, 63, 71, 73, 80 and 81 Reducing Night service on Routes 1, 2, 3, 40, 43, 47 and 48 Reducing the Sunday service schedule on Route 70 Modifying the weekend routing on Route 40 to provide service between the MALL @ WELLINGTON GREEN and BELLE GLADE only----existing weekend trips between the MALL @ WELLINGTON GREEN and DOWNTOWN WEST PALM BEACH will be discontinued. and reducing trips on routes currently operating service after 9PM. These changes may have an impact on the hours of service availability for passengers riding Palm Tran Connection. Written comments will also be received at Palm Tran, 3201 Electronics Way, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 until 5:00 p.m., July 15, 2008. Voice comments will be accepted at 561-841-4360 until 5:00 p.m. July 15, 2008. |
