Posted by 167T on Sat Jul 5 13:59:36 2008 How a bold plan saves you money without sacrificing qualityUsing only the best components is very expensive, but we were determined to manufacture the highest quality product available, at a price point that empowers operators to use luxury coaches, even if budget restraints had prevented it in the past. So to give you the best price, we decided to assemble our high quality parts in China. It was a bold move because of the fear that people would mistake "assembled in China" for "made in China." But let us assure you, you will find a BCI Falcon 45 rivals other motorcoaches not only in regards to quality of components, but also quality of workmanship, all while realizing substantial savings. Assembling our quality parts in China allows us to boast low acquisition costs. Visit our cost of ownership page to see just how much you can actually save when you purchase a BCI Falcon 45. MY GUESS WOULD BE IF IT'S ASSEMBLED IN CHINA WITH PARTS MADE IN THE U.S., BY THE TIME THE PARTS ARE SHIPPED TO CHINA, BUILT AND SHIPEED BACK TO THE U.S. YOU COULD HAVE A BETTER BUS (MCI OR VAN HOOL) FOR THE SAME PRICE!!! I REALIZE THAT VAN HOOLS ARE IMPORTED. AS FOR THE FLORIDA PLATES AND VEGAS SIGHTINGS, THE COMPANY HAS OFFICES IN THOSE LOCATIONS. IF YOU WANT TO SEE CRAP CHINESE VEHICLES, THE SCAB COMPANY; "EXPRESS SERVICE/SPANISH TRANSPORTATION" USES CHINESE BUILT BUSES TO COMPETE WITH NJ TRANSIT'S 190 AND 171 FROM PATERSON TO NEW YORK. |
