What would've made perfect sense, would have been to #4300-4329, 2206-2235. Then the new order could've been 2236-2361. But Nooooooo!Actually, from what I have heard, something similar IS going to happen, and the 43xx MCIs are not keeping their numbers. Exactly where they will end up is not yet known. (This would not be the first time an active fleet has been renumbered to make room for an order---Flxible New Looks in the way of the 1988 TMC order were renumbered into the 7000s. No Razzle-Dazzle is needed. :-) |
